For California Residents: The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you specific rights regarding your personal information. This page explains those rights and how to exercise them.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:
- Right to Know — Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties we share it with.
- Right to Delete — Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct — Request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing — Direct us not to "sell" or "share" your personal information (as those terms are defined under CCPA/CPRA).
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — Direct us to limit our use of any sensitive personal information we collect.
- Right to Non-Discrimination — You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
Do We "Sell" or "Share" Personal Information?
Under CCPA/CPRA, "sale" and "sharing" have specific legal meanings. Some of our activities may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under these definitions:
- When you call our phone number, we share your contact information with plumbing Service Providers who may pay us for the connection.
- We use third-party advertising and analytics services (such as Google Ads, Meta Pixel) that may collect information about your visit for targeted advertising purposes — this may constitute "sharing" under CCPA/CPRA.
- We may share aggregated call data with pay-per-call marketing networks for billing and attribution purposes.
We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense — we do not sell mailing lists or provide bulk data to third parties for their independent marketing use.
Categories of Personal Information Collected
In the past 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers — name, phone number, email address, IP address, service address
- Commercial information — records of services inquired about
- Internet activity — browsing history on our Site, interaction with ads, referring URLs
- Geolocation data — approximate location based on IP address or service area
- Audio recordings — recordings of calls to our phone number
- Inferences — inferences drawn from the above to create a profile of your service needs
